A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Background

Based in Chicago, I have always had a major interest in technology. Whether it was the latest video game console, smartphone, or car, they have always piqued my interest. Not to mention, I also loved products that looked good. Today these same principles drive me and my passion for blending the creative and technical worlds.

I have 3+ years of development experience working across frontends, backends, Linux kernel drivers, and more. Creatively, I have built up over 9 years of experience. Ranging from graphic design to video editing, 3D printing, and beyond.

Education

As for education, I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree and a double major in Computer Science and Broadcast and Cinematic Arts from Central Michigan University. During my time at CMU I served as the Technical Chair for the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) student organization.

Current Roles

I work for Accipiter Systems , as a Software Engineer. My responsibilities include implementing frontends/backends, developing Linux kernel drivers, and maintining/designing company-wide APIs. Additionally, I work cross-functionally to design marketing collateral and support new business opportunities technically.

My current stack for programming consists of C, Python, JavaScript, Bash Scripting, C++, and Qt. When it comes to design, I primarily use Adobe Illustrator and Adobe XD. For development environments, Windows and Ubuntu Linux are used the most.
